The department of English wasestablished in the year 1989-90 with U.G. Course and it was elevated as P.G.department in the year 2014-15. Our major concern is to foster the growth to astudent community well versed in English language and literature. It is not asmall thing for a man or a woman to become a master of the internationallanguage and of its rich and complex literature. No other study exerts agreater influence on man in molding his intellectual and spiritual life thanthe study of literature.The students are encouraged to imbibe these qualitiesby working collectively in the classroom on exercises and examples provided bythe teachers.
